Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger I

The Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger I became one of the most recognisable heavy tanks of the Second World War, combining formidable armour with the powerful 88 mm gun that made it a feared opponent on the battlefield.

Introduced into German service in 1942, the Tiger I was designed around heavy protection and long-range firepower. Its 8.8 cm KwK 36 gun was capable of engaging armoured vehicles at considerable distances, while its thick armour presented a significant challenge to many Allied tanks. However, its considerable weight, mechanical complexity and demanding maintenance requirements also created substantial logistical challenges.

This original hand-drawn Tiger I T-shirt design presents the tank as a technical schematic in top-down view, highlighting its distinctive turret, heavy armour and imposing proportions. The illustration celebrates the engineering and mechanical character of one of the most recognisable armoured vehicles in military history.

Aftercare

How to wash:

Turn your t-shirt inside out— this avoids scratches and friction and keeps the printed area safe.
Wash with cold water—opt for temperatures at or below 30°C (86°F) to prevent it from fading or shrinking.
Delicate cycle.
Soft detergent—harsh detergents can cause the ink to fade or discolour.
Avoid fabric softener and dry cleaning— it can be too harsh for the ink, degrading the print quality.
Avoid bleach!

How to dry:

Keep the t-shirt inside out.
The best option is to hang dry.
Tumble-dry with caution, on a low heat. Over time, the higher temperatures can dry out the ink, causing it to crack.

Damaged, misprinted or wrong item?
Email me as soon as you can, ideally within 14 days of delivery, with your order number and a couple of photos. I'll replace it or refund you, and I'll cover return postage if I ask for the item back. This doesn't affect your statutory rights.
