Northrop McDonnell Douglas YF-23 Black Widow II

The YF-23 Black Widow II — a striking piece of aviation history and one of the most distinctive aircraft to emerge from the USAF's Advanced Tactical Fighter programme. With its unusual diamond-shaped wings, canted tails and stealth-focused design, the YF-23 remains one of the most fascinating aircraft of its generation.

This design is a highly detailed hand-drawn schematic of the Black Widow II, carefully referenced from photographs of the aircraft preserved at the National Museum of the United States Air Force. Every part of the aircraft has been drawn with detail and accuracy in mind, creating a piece that celebrates one of aviation's great 'what if' aircraft.

(For Black T-shirts, the design is coloured in 'Dark Gray Ghost', taken from the PAV-2 colouring design. For White T-Shirts, the design features darker colouring, in 'Gunship Grey', taken from the PAV-1 colouring.)

Aftercare

How to wash:

Turn your t-shirt inside out— this avoids scratches and friction and keeps the printed area safe.
Wash with cold water—opt for temperatures at or below 30°C (86°F) to prevent it from fading or shrinking.
Delicate cycle.
Soft detergent—harsh detergents can cause the ink to fade or discolour.
Avoid fabric softener and dry cleaning— it can be too harsh for the ink, degrading the print quality.
Avoid bleach!

How to dry:

Keep the t-shirt inside out.
The best option is to hang dry.
Tumble-dry with caution, on a low heat. Over time, the higher temperatures can dry out the ink, causing it to crack.

It normally takes 3–7 days to fulfil an order, after which it’s shipped out.
