Avro Vulcan

The Avro Vulcan was one of the defining aircraft of Britain's Cold War era — a vast delta-wing strategic bomber whose distinctive silhouette and thunderous Olympus engines made it an icon of British aviation.

First flown in 1952 and entering Royal Air Force service in 1956, the Vulcan formed part of Britain's V-bomber force, carrying the country's airborne nuclear deterrent during the Cold War. Its delta-wing design combined high-altitude performance with the range required for strategic missions. Although retired from RAF service in 1984, the Vulcan demonstrated its continued operational reach during the 1982 Falklands War, when Vulcans flew the long-range Operation Black Buck bombing raids.

Aftercare

How to wash:

Turn your t-shirt inside out— this avoids scratches and friction and keeps the printed area safe.
Wash with cold water—opt for temperatures at or below 30°C (86°F) to prevent it from fading or shrinking.
Delicate cycle.
Soft detergent—harsh detergents can cause the ink to fade or discolour.
Avoid fabric softener and dry cleaning— it can be too harsh for the ink, degrading the print quality.
Avoid bleach!

How to dry:

Keep the t-shirt inside out.
The best option is to hang dry.
Tumble-dry with caution, on a low heat. Over time, the higher temperatures can dry out the ink, causing it to crack.

Please send the item back within 14 days of telling me. Items must be unworn, unwashed and in a resaleable condition, and I may reduce the refund if an item comes back worn, washed or damaged. Return postage is paid by you. Once I receive the item, I'll refund you within 14 days.

Damaged, misprinted or wrong item?
Email me as soon as you can, ideally within 14 days of delivery, with your order number and a couple of photos. I'll replace it or refund you, and I'll cover return postage if I ask for the item back. This doesn't affect your statutory rights.
